Question by Jerry: Where in the World is Executions legal and illegal?
I think that Executions is also known as Capital Punishment or The Death Penalty. I need to find out which Countries in the World accept (legal) Executions and which Countries don’t accept (illegal) Executions. Thanks for Your Help!

    You will find what you need there. Click on abolitionist or retentionist countries for the list of countries that allow the death penalty for all crimes and lists of countries that not allow the death penalty only for crimes like treason. 133 nations are totally abolitionist in either law or practice while 64 nations retain it.

    Going back to international, click on executions around the world, for the numbers of executions in countries where records are kept.

    For 2006, the 5 nations with the most executions were
    China, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan and the United States.
