Question by wormwar1: What happened to the Democrats complaining about the national debt?
Obama has promised to do NOTHING about reducing the debt or budget deficit. In fact, he said it will increase under his administration.

He is most likely correct that it will take more than 8 years to overcome the carnage of the Bush administration. In fact, we may never recover from Bush. China may be taking our spot. We are in a very bad spot now. It is unbelievable how low we have become in such a short time.

What’s the point in complaining? Now we’re f*cked because Republicans think trillion-dollar wars are really fun games.

Truth is he said that during the campaign, but the obamabots were too deaf and blind to hear or see it. Since it has now become their debt or soon will be, it doesn’t matter anymore, besides they will still say they have to spend the money because “it’s Bushs fault”.

Let me get this straight……You idiots on the right who have held ALL 3 branches of Gov for the last 8 years – want to start blaming Obama for spending even before he gets into office? Seriously get help. REAGAN, BUSH 1, BUSH 2 have been the biggest spenders in our history. Just shut up and get back on your little bus.

He said he will go line for line through the budget and get rid of programs we don’t need. And if you haven’t been around for that last three months we are in a recession so the top priority is getting out of the recession and helping the country. And republicans suck balls!

They won the election and want to spend as much money as possible to buy votes with handouts and keep a lock on power.

Far be it from me to defend the Kenyan, but, when there is a recession on, and it is looking like a depression is a possibility, the Federal government needs to spend bucks out the wazoo to prevent it.

They are probably the biggest hypocrites on the planet. We heard them whine about budget deficits during the Regan and both Bush administrations and how terrible it was and how it was going to ruin the country. These deficits were it the several billion dollar range.

Now under a Democrat controlled Congress and House and incoming president deficits of trillions of dollars are not a bad thing! In fact Barney Frank has said that they are not even paying attention to how high the deficit is! The current deficit is currently half of our yearly budget. We have now borrowed so much money that if the government confiscated everyones money and property we still could not pay off the debt. You Liberals can make all the excuses you want but this is so far above and beyond anything the Republicans did that your excuses ring hallow and mean nothing. Oh and the Democrats are still spending like there is no tomorrow, which at the rate they are spending there probably isn’t!

By the time Obama gets done with Socialized health care, cap and trade and all of his other high spending policies and plans we will all probably be paying 50% or more in taxes.
