Question by newhere: Ciao, Is there anyone familiar including foreclosure laws in WA state, my partner lost his house due to foreclosur?
Also the house he got here in AZ was sold but a small deal. the house in AZ had two loan mortages, but my question is how come the one mortage company is still sending him the papers on how much he owed as I thought in Az, if its small deal they cant go after him.

Unless he got a forgiveness of the debt (in approximately states it’s called a deed in lieu of foreclosure), they can pursue the difference. He desires to get to a bankruptcy attorney to explore his left over options at this point.

Question by paris_t: If you file for bankruptcy and it hasn’t been discharged can you still go out of state for a work transfer?
I filed in january and had court at the end of March. My attorney says i will receive my discharge papers within 6months. Now my company has offered me a transfer to arizona which i had useful for before the whole bankruptcy issue. Do i wait till i be inflicted including my paperwork and fail to attend the opportunity of a time or can i go lacking the official discharge?

The bankruptcy doesn’t hold you to the state you live in. You be inflicted including already been to court and won’t be inflicted including to appear again. Make sure your attorney notifies the court of your change of address. At that time GO.

If so would this protect you from life held in contempt? I filed bankruptcy because I lost my job as my ex wife cheated including my boss. She keeps saying she is going to hold me in contempt for not paying our mortgage including the intention of I could not afford since I lost my job.

From what I know, bankruptcy attorneys aren’t extremely expensive. Find one and be inflicted including a conversation.

You also might want to find a skilled employment attorney. You might be inflicted including a skilled civil action against your boss personally as well as the company.
