Quick solution to getting this country out of debt
Question by What What in the Butt: Quick solution to getting this country out of debt
We spend approx. $ 3,500 per household on anti-poverty programs and around $ 2,000 per household on paying off the debt. If each household pays the full $ 5,500 towards paying off our debt this country will be out of debt by 2012. The byproduct of this solution will be that anyone relying on these programs now will learn to survive on there own like the rest of us and become productive members of society. This money has nothing to do with people with disabilities who are unable to provide for themselves. Which candidate is the most likely to raise the amount of money for anti-poverty programs? Heres a hint, the total amount of hikes between 1992 to 2000 were higher than the total amount between 1980-1991 plus 2001 to present…get the picture

Where do you get these numbers from? I was under the impression that each household’s part of the national debt was at least $ 50,000.
