Q&A: Legal help?
Question by southern comfort: Legal help?
Are there any retired Judges or family law attorneys who are willing to help me with an objection to a referee’s order. I need a little guidance and would appreciate as much help as possible. I have legal knowledge but need some guidance. I live in Oakland County Michigan. It is a child support issue. Please be open to yahoo messenger or email. my email is smittyhill2003@yahoo.com . Thanks

It would be unethical for a retired judge or family law lawyers to do more than give you the barest, most general guidance unless he or she was licensed to practice in Michigan.
If this is important enough to you (and it sounds like it is), do whatever (legally) it takes to scrape up the money to hire a lawyer. (The judge might even make the other side pay you back.)
Good luck to you.
