Question by : Is it normal for Legal Documents to use initials rather than full names?
I was reading the documents filed by the Medical Board of California in attempt to remove Dr.Conrad Murray’s medical license.

They refer to Michael Jackson as “Patient, M.J.”
I was just wondering if it’s normal to use initials rather than full names, considering the initials can refer to many people?
Privacy of the vitim, but what if the vitim has passed away?
I understand Michael deserves his privacy, but he’s kind of not living anymore.

It is normal in medical and other cases where they are attempting to protect the privacy of the victim.
