Question by Saraphina Blue: Has anyone else out there lost their home to foreclosure? Ours goes on the auction block in the beginning of?
July.
How are you surviving in this economy?
I pray all of you are out there are all right.
No one should have their home taken away from them.
We have someplace to go. We are the lucky ones.
How many are on the streets tonight I wonder. My family has been there too. But that is for another time.
Hold on to your loved ones and your faith is all I have left to say because anything can be taken away.
I know we have to help ourselves but when does the Government start to care?

all i can say is you have my sympathy but that is of no use to you and your family . politicians dont care , how many polititians have you saw offering to take a pay cut ?? they should lead by example and take less to put more into the pot for people like you and other people who lose their jobs , hope everything works out for you keep positive thinking and hopefully all will come round someday

The Government is not in the “care giving” business. Not their job. Get some $ $ $ together and go buy back your house. In today’s housing market you just might find you can buy it back for less than you had in it.

My children’s father lost his job after 30 years. I had quit to stay home with my children. When he lost his job I went to return, found no openings. The retirement money crashed when the stock market fell. Then we took it out early & took even more of a loss. We were together 10 years before child #1 & 19 years before child #2. I put 50% down payment on a modest home. Always taking special care to live with in my means. I have never in my life had a late mortgage payment or a car note or a charge card payment. Never used the charge cards unless I knew I had a way to pay the bill when it arrived. Bought a modest vehicle every 8 years. Now for the 1st time in my life @ age 40 & him 50 I feel like all my planning was a waste of time. I’m using charge cards just to survive. The children are on medicaid, could not cobra at $ 1300 a month. On food stamps & free lunch @ the school. I’m attending a trade school for medical in the hopes of finding a job when I get out. The youngest is getting daycare assistance. Being unemployed I could not pay $ 150 a week. Welcome to my nightmare. With God’s help & me helping myself I hope this all turns around.
