her machine, after he was through he thought he had hung up the phone and didn’t. He said a few racial slurs about her name . She has the whole thing rrecorded, is there anything that can be done? Also where would she take this matter? We are in Texas

    I am sure that there is something that can be done…but I personally am not sure as to what. I would maybe contact another lawyer, from a different city for safety, and ask. I think they could be disbarred…not sure the procedures to follow!

    Tell your friend to get in touch with the man’s superiors, if he has any. Make copies of the tape, invite the boss round to listen. Or, there must be a legal body, such as an ombudsman who will investigate claims of non professionalism. I would definitely take the matter further. Good luck to your friend
