expense of other people? Like the people who have always been homeless—>renters. Or shoud those renters get a free house too and the rich people just pay for it?

we have to figure out a way for people to pay bills and loans to stimulate the economy,, and to do that there needs to be jobs,, and to do that companies need to pay workers,, now,, obama has drawn up a plan for green collar jobs ,, which will cause 100,000 or more people to have jobs that will spend money so that more people will have jobs,, who will spend money so that more people will have jobs,, it’s like a job earthquake,,, republicans,, want ceo’s to soak up all the money,, and call it trickle down economics ,, and it doesn’t work,,

Of course not.
Those of us who didn’t make a bad financial decision and buy a home we couldn’t afford on the gamble that prices would go up forever should NOT have to pay for the mistakes of those who did.
The real problem here is th deregulation of the mortgage industry that allowed this bubble in the first place. Bush did that. Obama has nothing to do with it.
