someone who is 14 can only be employed in very restricted terms so if you are hoping to have the boy work a full day 5 days a week, even in summer, I think you are mistaken. Also you need to have all employees covered. If you take him along with you for company, he is not an employee and does not need cover, though you could be legally liable in the event of something happening to him. An acquaintance of mine did that and his young son was killed by a truck at work.
