How can we take Obama seriously on the debt ceiling debate when he said this in 2006?
Question by John Doe: How can we take Obama seriously on the debt ceiling debate when he said this in 2006?
“America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better
I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”
So is he saying that he has failed to lead? I would agree with that part.

We cannot take Obama seriously on any subject. He is a walking joke.
Obama thinks it’s different when the president is a democrat.
Yes. I’m so glad I’m not the only person that has caught on to this, and there is someone else out there that knows he said he would oppose raising the debt ceiling and now he’s trying to raise it.
What did Republicans say back then…?
He is an abject failure, unless you consider Destroying the Nation his agenda.
