Question by seeingred: Can I become a resident of the United States if I have filed bankruptcy in another country?
I am currently in the process of becoming a resident of the USA as my fiance is American. I currently filed bankruptcy in Canada. The bankruptcy will be discharged in 9 months. Does anyone know if they will deny my residency application because of this?
